**Experienced Customer Account Manager – Transportation and Logistics Industry Expert**

If you're a seasoned professional with a passion for building strong customer relationships and driving revenue growth, we want to hear from you. **Job Overview** As a Customer Account Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts across all modes of transportation. Your primary objective will be to grow volume and profitable revenue within your assigned portfolio of customers through customer relationship building, quarterly business reviews, and general account development activities. You'll also be responsible for actively soliciting and engaging lapsed customers through cold selling tactics. In addition to driving revenue growth, you'll provide leadership and subject matter expertise on customer operations-related matters. You'll serve as the primary point of escalation for operational opportunities that cannot be resolved by the customer operations team, including but not limited to trailer par management, on-time pick-up or delivery, accessorial charges and billing, invoice, and claims issues. **Key Responsibilities** • Grow volume and profitable revenue within your assigned portfolio of customers through customer relationship building, quarterly business reviews, and general account development activities. • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise on customer operations-related matters, serving as the primary point of escalation for operational opportunities that cannot be resolved by the customer operations team. • Engage face-to-face with customers through headquarter calls and on-site facility visits to provide continuous improvement collaboration, deepen and grow business partnerships, and generate incremental opportunities that will drive profitable revenue. • Partner with internal departments, including Managed Transportation, Asset Planning, Finance, and Field Operations, to optimize service and cost for customers and arenaflex. • Perform other duties as assigned. **Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities** • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. • Critical thinking abilities, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and other external partners. • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Self-motivated and comfortable working under generalized direction, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to interact with customers with limited leader support, with the ability to think critically and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. • Ability and willingness to work in an office environment, with occasional exposure to warehouse and manufacturing plant settings. • Ability to travel 30% of the time, with the flexibility to adapt to changing business needs. **Minimum Qualifications** • High school diploma or GED • Knowledge acquired through 3 to 5 years of work experience **Preferred Qualifications** • 3-5 years Customer Account Management/Selling experience, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building strong customer relationships. • 1-3 years Transportation/Logistics experience, with a deep understanding of the industry and its complexities. • A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain, or Sales Marketing, with a strong foundation in business principles and practices. **Work Environment** As a Customer Account Manager at arenaflex, you'll work in a normal office environment, with occasional exposure to warehouse and manufacturing plant settings.
