Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Senior Hedge Fund Auditor (or Tax) professional. The individual will manage and execute audits, provide guidance on current accounting standards, and analyze intricate financial data for hedge funds and private investment entities. Daily responsibilities include leading audits, and/or preparing tax returns, ensuring adherence to auditing and accounting standards, and collaborating with clients as well as firm personnel. Qualifications • Proficiency in audits and/or tax prep, with a deep understanding of hedge fund-specific requirements • Experience working with hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, or spv's with a previous CPA firm • Knowledge of accounting and auditing procedures applicable to private investment funds • Strong analytical and documentation skills to assess and interpret financial statements in clear and concise workpapers • Excellent communication and organizational abilities • CPA certification or equivalent is preferred • Ability to work independently and remotely while meeting tight deadlines Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
