Our work focuses on three critical areas: (1) Org Design & Operating Model, (2) Talent & Skills and (3) Purpose, Culture, Transformation & Change Management.</p><p> </p><p>We are seeking a strong candidate with experience and passion to fill a Co-op role in the People & Organization practice (POP). Under the general direction of the Global Director of the practice, the co-op will support the POP knowledge and management teams across a broad range of activities including: financial reporting, internal and external marketing, communications, knowledge support, and others. The individual will have the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of different functions, to collaborate with teams across the world, and to better understand what the core business of consulting entails.</p><p> </p><p>The role requires a high degree of motivation and flexibility, the ability to work in a virtual management environment, and the ability to handle fragmentation.<br><br><strong>YOU’RE GOOD AT</strong></p><ul><li>Create and interpret monthly management presentations</li><li>Provide support for ad hoc topic and region performance data</li><li>Provide support for the practice’s strategic planning</li><li>Contribute to global Topic, HR, marketing and affiliation activities</li><li>Partner with global topic teams to execute special projects and contribute to the execution of practice area priorities</li><li>Oversee global affiliation, talent and expertise database</li><li>Support automation of tasks, identify and help execute effective new practices to drive efficiency in the business</li><li>Support POP knowledge team on ad hoc client project work to better understand the core of BCG’s business</li></ul><br><br><p class="job-description-header">What You'll Bring</p><ul><li>Preference for someone working on a BS/BA in Business</li><li>Experience and / or interest in Human Resources / Organizational topics (e.g., Organizational Structure, Change Management, Learning & Development)</li><li>Preferably a sophomore or junior with strong academic performance and prior work experience</li><li>Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills</li><li>Organized, detail oriented and analytical, good interpersonal and communication skills. High level of initiative and resourcefulness.</li><li>Ability to work in fast paced environment</li><li>Must be able to work part-time (20 hours/week) throughout the internship</li><li>Must be authorized to work in the United States</li><li>Must be physically located in the U.S. during the internship</li></ul><br><br><p class="job-description-header">Who You'll Work With</p><ul><li>Members of the Knowledge Team within the POP Practice Area. The Knowledge Team are experts on the topics within the POP Practice Area (Org Design & Operating Model, Talent & Skills and Purpose, Culture, Transformation & Change Management). They are responsible for the development of topic-related IP and closely support case teams on client work.</li><li>Members of BCG’s core support functions and businesses (e.g., PA Management, HR, Finance)</li></ul><br><br><p class="job-description-header">Additional info</p><p>In the US, we have a compensation transparency approach.</p><p>Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.</p><p><span><br></span><span>The hourly rate for this role is $21-$24/hr per hour; placement will vary based on experience, skill set, and location.</span></p><br><br><p>Boston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
