Position Overview

arenaflex is expanding its pharmacy team with two remote Pharmacy Data Entry Technician positions. While candidates located in Florida are preferred to align with regional client needs, qualified professionals from other states are encouraged to apply. Both shifts are designed to support our high‑volume prescription pipeline, ensuring uninterrupted service to our long‑term care partners.

Available Shifts

  • Shift A: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Eastern Time)
  • Shift B: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM (Eastern Time)

Core Responsibilities

  • Accurately process medical orders using arenaflex’s proprietary pharmacy management system, converting handwritten physician prescriptions into electronic records.
  • Validate medication dosage, frequency, and administration routes against clinical guidelines and formulary restrictions.
  • Coordinate with physicians, nursing staff, and external pharmacy partners to resolve any discrepancies or incomplete orders.
  • Manage a high‑volume workflow that includes new prescriptions, refill requests, and admission medication reconciliations.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with internal teams (clinical pharmacists, quality assurance) and external stakeholders (providers, caregivers).
  • Document all interactions and order modifications in accordance with HIPAA and state regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and flag potential drug‑interaction alerts or therapeutic duplications for pharmacist review.
  • Continuously improve data entry accuracy by participating in periodic audits and feedback sessions.
  • Provide peer support and mentorship to newer technicians, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential from a recognized pharmacy board.
  • Minimum of one year proven remote work experience in a pharmacy or healthcare data entry role.
