Job Opportunity: Financial Operations - Intermediate We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Financial Operations team at the intermediate level. In this role, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day financial processes that ensure the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of our financial ecosystem. You will serve as a bridge between operational execution and strategic financial health, working to mitigate risk while providing exceptional support to our stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
• Process Management: Oversee and execute routine financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, ledger reconciliations, and complex billing inquiries.
• Risk & Compliance: Identify, monitor, and control risks associated with financial activities. Ensure all processes adhere to established regulatory requirements and internal control policies.
• Data Analysis: Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement. Prepare detailed reports for management to support informed decision-making.
• Member Advocacy: Deliver high-quality service by resolving complex financial issues and providing guidance on financial products and procedures.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to implement new financial systems, automate workflows, and support audit activities.
Minimum Requirements
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or a related field within the financial services industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and experience with financial ERP systems or banking software.
• Communication: strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• Experience in the military community or a deep understanding of military-specific financial needs.
• Prior experience in a "Sensitive Position" involving the movement of corporate or member funds.
