[Remote] Rockin' Billing & Payroll Specialist - Remote & Part-Time!!
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. myVA Rocks is a growing virtual-assisting company seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Payroll Specialist to join their team on a part-time basis. This role focuses on billing and accounts receivable, with occasional payroll support responsibilities.
Responsibilities
• Generate and send client invoices accurately and on time
• Verify incoming payments and reconcile transactions
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable
• Follow up on past-due invoices and manage collections as needed
• Update and maintain recurring subscriptions
• Answer billing questions from clients and Virtual Assistants (VAs)
• Ensure billing aligns with project budgets and contracted hours
• Update and track project budgets
• Maintain updated Googlesheets for accuracy, and prompt reporting
• Light reporting
• Maintain accurate billing records and status updates in Monday.com
• Assist with payroll processing as needed
• Verify hours and payment details
• Support payroll reporting and documentation
Skills
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
• Experience with client billing and accounts receivable
• Experience using Monday.com for tracking and updates
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Organized, deadline-driven, and proactive
• Experience with Harvest (time tracking & invoicing)
• Experience with Stripe (payment processing)
• Experience with Gusto (payroll processing)
• Experience in a service-based or virtual business environment
