[Remote] Quant Trader Internship Program

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Global Quant Academy is offering a Quant Trader Internship Program designed for STEM students interested in quantitative strategies and financial data analysis. Interns will collaborate with hedge fund quants to design trading strategies, analyze financial data, and build algorithms, gaining valuable experience in the quant industry. Responsibilities • Collaborate with our hedge fund quants to design and backtest quantitative trading strategies for global financial markets • Analyze financial data, market trends, and risk factors using advanced statistical and programming tools (Python, R, Excel) • Build trading algorithms and contribute to live project simulations on equity, fixed-income, or multi-asset portfolios • Receive continuous feedback to sharpen your quantitative modeling, coding, and trading decision skills Skills • Passionate about quantitative strategies, financial data analysis, or algorithmic trading • Ability to collaborate with hedge fund quants to design and backtest quantitative trading strategies for global financial markets • Experience analyzing financial data, market trends, and risk factors using advanced statistical and programming tools (Python, R, Excel) • Capability to build trading algorithms and contribute to live project simulations on equity, fixed-income, or multi-asset portfolios • Willingness to receive continuous feedback to sharpen quantitative modeling, coding, and trading decision skills • Must be based in US/UK/AUS/Canada • Available for a duration of 4–5 weeks, part-time (flexible with class schedules) • Undergraduate students or recent graduates (preferably within 3 years) in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or similar fields seeking a quant career • Curious learners ready to explore quantitative trading, research, and algorithmic finance • Students who come from a non-STEM background may be considered on a case by case basis Benefits • Certificate • Referral letter Company Overview • Global Quant Academy is a premier training platform dedicated to launching careers in quantitative finance, investment management, and algorithmic trading.
