Position: Junior Flutter Developer (Web & Desktop) At Unping , we’re building “the communication suitefor your team” – a fun, engaged, and distraction‑free way for teams to connect and collaborate wherever they are. Based in Dortmund , we’re a small but mighty team (1–11 employees) working on the next‑generation “digital HQ for teams”. We’re seeking a motivated junior Flutter developer to join us in crafting Unping’s core frontend experience for web and desktop . Tasks • Build and maintain Flutter‑based web and desktop interfaces for Unping, ensuring seamless collaboration and user joy. • Work with designers and back‑end developers to translate interaction concepts into fluid, delightful UI. • Write clean, maintainable, and testable Dart code—with guidance and feedback from mentors. • Participate in agile development practices: code reviews, pair programming, and iterative improvements. • Contribute to UX enhancements like Float Mode, video bubbles, and interactive emoji reactions that make Unping playful and engaging. Requirements Must‑haves (Junior level): • Foundational understanding of Flutter & Dart , with enthusiasm to grow quickly. • Basic experience with frontend paradigms—widget trees, state management, layouts. • Comfortable reading and writing English; German language skills are a plus. • Curious, collaborative, and proactive attitude—an ideal match for a nimble startup. Nice‑to‑haves: • Any previous exposure to Flutter web or desktop (e.g., macOS, Windows builds). • UI/UX inclination, especially animation or playful micro‑interaction experience.
