Digital Content Creator, I
Job Description:
• Provide daily written content by developing weekly assignments that focus on health-related content for a dedicated section of the Cleveland Clinic website.
• Create trustworthy, easy-to-understand health information that aligns with Cleveland Clinic’s standards for accuracy and clarity.
• Collaborate closely with SEO, operations, and graphics teams, as well as partners across Marketing & Communications.
• Write accurate, high-quality medical content that’s consistent with Cleveland Clinic’s brand voice.
• Research health topics and/or interview clinical sources.
• Translate complex medical and scientific information into accessible and comprehensive language for patients and the general public.
• Incorporate edits from subject matter experts into finished copies.
• Seek out and engage regularly with peers, creating an environment of exchange and learning.
Requirements:
• One year of experience writing, editing, researching and preparing material for publication OR High School/GED and five years of experience OR Associate’s degree and three years of experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of colleagues.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with an ability to prioritize, solve problems and set expectations
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, English, healthcare or closely related field (preferred)
