Database Developer/oracle Database Developer/ SQL Database developer- Remote

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Database Developer with strong experience in Oracle and SQL databases to design, develop, optimize, and maintain database solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with application developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high performance, data integrity, and scalability of database systems. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain database objects including tables, views, indexes, functions, procedures, and triggers • Write and optimize complex SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, and stored procedures • Ensure database performance, security, availability, and reliability • Perform database tuning, query optimization, and performance monitoring • Collaborate with application development teams to support data-driven applications • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in development and production environments • Implement data validation, integrity, and backup/recovery strategies • Participate in database design reviews and provide technical recommendations • Maintain documentation for database designs, processes, and standards Required Skills & Qualifications • Strong experience with Oracle Database and/or SQL-based databases • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL • Experience in database design, normalization, and data modeling • Knowledge of performance tuning, indexing, and execution plans • Familiarity with backup, recovery, and data migration processes • Understanding of security, roles, and access control in databases • Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into database solutions Preferred / Nice to Have • Experience with tools like SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar • Exposure to ETL processes and data warehousing concepts • Knowledge of cloud databases (OCI, AWS RDS, Azure SQL, etc.) • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, or similar) Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
