About the Role The Strategic Sourcing/Procurement Program Manager will lead the effort to analyze and plan for vendors to be acquired by the bank through its acquisition of another entity. • They are seeking a Generalist Procurement Manager with a strong Sourcing background. • They must have a strong Project/Program Management background with the procurement focus • This individual will be tasked with leading the Vendor Cycle and would need to have a strong understanding of vendor management at they will oversee 700+ Vendors • They need to have a strong ability to lead RFPs and Negotiations • They are currently in the process of acquiring American National Bank so this merger will be a major part of their role • They want this person to have a “I want to crush it mentality” • Bank Merger/Financial Experience is a heavy plus • Scheduled end in September but if this person is a rock star they would have opportunity to convert if a position is open. Key words on Resume: • Problem Solving • Managing Complex Challenges • Procurement • Sourcing Responsibilities • Lead the effort to analyze and plan for vendors to be acquired by the bank through its acquisition of another entity • Provide reporting and oversight of the individual vendor-level planning efforts, while also executing on a sub-set of them directly. • Collaborate with business lines, IT, Legal, and the acruired entity to understand what services are being provided, what contractual terms apply, and align on a plan to integrate the services into the bank's ecosystem. • Determine what services might need to be added, what services need to be terminated, and negotiate the relevant documents. • Conduct initial work prior to legal close focused on planning and alignment only. • Transition to implementation work after legal close. Qualifications Ideal candidate will be familiar with Strategic Sourcing or Procurement negotiations and will also have some experience supporting a bank merger and/or program management practices (tracking, reporting, issue communication, etc.). Required Skills • Experience in Strategic Sourcing or Procurement negotiations. • Experience supporting a bank merger. • Program management practices (tracking, reporting, issue communication). Preferred Skills • Familiarity with vendor-level planning efforts. • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
