Manage the entire supply chain for clinical trials, from planning and forecasting to distribution and inventory management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of medications to patients. Develop and maintain project plans for clinical supply activities, including timelines, budget, and risk management. Oversee the packaging, labeling, and shipment of clinical trial materials in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards. Monitor and track inventory levels, ensuring adequate supply for ongoing and upcoming trials. Identify potential supply chain issues and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure uninterrupted supply. Conduct regular audits and inspections of clinical supply vendors and partners to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Continuously evaluate and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding clinical supply chain activities. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to clinical supply chain management. Mentor and train junior team members on clinical supply chain processes and procedures. Communicate regularly with project teams and management to provide updates on supply chain status and any potential issues. Prepare and present reports and presentations on clinical supply chain performance and progress. Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate payment of clinical supply vendors.
