Position Overview: Government Lockbox Processing Specialist

The Government Lockbox Processing Specialist is a pivotal member of arenaflex’s Receivables Operations team. In this entry‑level role you will scan, validate, and enter payment information for a wide array of government clients, ensuring that every remittance is processed accurately and on time. This position blends meticulous data‑entry work with a strong customer‑service mindset, all within a collaborative, high‑productivity environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and Extract Remittances: Follow arenaflex’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to scan incoming payment documents, extract remittance details, and load them into the processing system.
  • Transaction Processing & Reconciliation: Process payments and reconcile them against invoices, adhering to arenaflex’s policies, compliance requirements, and service‑level agreements.
  • Documentation Management: Verify that all necessary paperwork, supporting documentation, and transaction capacity are present before initiating processing.
  • Equipment Readiness: Perform routine checks on scanners, key‑entry workstations, and other hardware to ensure operational readiness; report any malfunctions promptly.
  • Workflow Feedback: Provide constructive feedback on workflow efficiency, volume spikes, and any obstacles that could affect quality or timeliness.
