Role Overview – Customer Success Manager (Dundee & Aberdeen)

As a Customer Success Manager for arenaflex, you will be the trusted advocate and growth catalyst for our most successful restaurant partners in Scotland. Working closely with the Regional Manager and cross‑functional teams—including Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Product—you will own the end‑to‑end relationship lifecycle, using deep platform expertise and data‑driven insights to accelerate partner performance, uplift sales, and enhance operational efficiency.

This is a high‑visibility, impact‑focused role that blends strategic partnership management, analytical problem‑solving, and creative campaigning. You will be based in either Dundee or Aberdeen, travelling throughout the region to build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for top‑tier restaurant partners, delivering proactive, personalised support both in‑person and remotely.
  • Revenue Growth & Performance Optimization: Analyse order data, traffic patterns, and market trends to uncover growth opportunities; develop and execute actionable plans that increase order volume and average spend.
  • Contract Negotiation & Partnership Structuring: Lead negotiations of terms, pricing models, and promotional agreements that align with both arenaflex objectives and partner profitability goals.
  • Operational Alignment: Collaborate with rider operations teams to streamline delivery workflows, reduce friction points, and ensure a seamless end‑to‑end customer experience.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the Marketing department to design, launch, and measure targeted campaigns (e.g., seasonal promotions, new menu launches) that drive traffic to partner venues.
  • Innovation & Project Management: Ideate, pitch, and manage pilot initiatives—such as new menu formats, dynamic pricing, or loyalty programs—tailored to the Scottish market.
  • Data Storytelling: Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling insights and recommendations that resonate with partner stakeholders at all levels.
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination: Work closely with Product, Finance, and Customer Support to resolve issues quickly and to feed partner feedback into platform enhancements.
  • Reporting & KPI Tracking: Maintain accurate records of partner health, performance metrics, and strategic milestones; present regular progress updates to senior leadership.

Essential Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or strategic partnership roles within a fast‑growing, technology‑enabled environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and act upon data—proficiency with Excel, SQL, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills, with a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing contract lifecycles.
  • Strong organisational talent and the ability to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Passion for the food and hospitality sector, with an intuitive understanding of restaurant operations and challenges.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset in a dynamic, high‑growth context.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Assets

  • Background in the food‑delivery or e‑commerce industry, particularly within the UK market.
  • Experience working in or managing teams across multiple Scottish locations.
  • Knowledge of marketing activation tactics, including digital advertising, email automation, and social media promotions.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and project‑management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com).
  • Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Gaelic) is a plus, reflecting arenaflex’s commitment to local culture.

Core Skills & Competencies for Success

  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to derive actionable insights from large datasets and translate them into partner‑centric strategies.
  • Strategic Thinking: Vision to identify long‑term growth pathways and align them with arenaflex’s broader objectives.
  • Empathy & Active Listening: Understanding partner pain points, aspirations, and cultural nuances to foster genuine collaboration.
  • Negotiation & Influence: Skilled at finding win‑win solutions and securing commitments that benefit both parties.
  • Project Management: Capability to plan, execute, and monitor initiatives from concept through delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Comfortable navigating matrix organisations and building strong internal networks.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast‑changing environment where priorities shift rapidly.
