Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective PCB designs. Utilize industry-standard tools and techniques to create efficient and manufacturable PCB layouts. Conduct thorough design reviews to ensure accuracy and functionality of the PCB layout. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in PCB design and implement them in the design process. Troubleshoot and provide solutions for any layout-related issues during the product development phase. Ensure compliance with industry and company standards for PCB design and manufacturing. Mentor and train junior layout designers on best practices and industry standards. Work closely with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to ensure smooth production and timely delivery of products. Continuously improve and optimize the PCB design process to increase efficiency and reduce time to market. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all PCB layouts and design changes. Proactively identify and address any potential risks or challenges in the PCB design process. Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects. Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality PCB layouts within established deadlines. Maintain a thorough understanding of Dell's product portfolio and customer needs to design PCBs that meet their requirements and expectations.
