Learning Designer (K-12 or Higher Ed)
Superset is incubating an AI-native personalized STEM tutor (focusing on math) designed to power adaptive learning and school-integrated homework in the AI era. We are seeking an experienced Learning Designer to provide instructional guidance and structured product feedback during early development. *Required to have experience with or tutoring with AI*
Role Overview
This is a project-based advisory role. You will help shape how the system teaches, scaffolds, and sequences math concepts to ensure strong pedagogical integrity and real mastery development.
Responsibilities
-Provide guidance on instructional design and concept sequencing
-Identify common student misconceptions in middle school math and Algebra 1
-Review AI-generated explanations, hints, and practice structures
-Recommend improvements to scaffolding and difficulty progression
-Provide structured feedback on product iterations
Qualifications
-Experience in math curriculum design or instructional design
-Deep understanding of how students build conceptual understanding
-Familiarity with K-12 math, higher ed, or SAT math
-Ability to give clear, actionable feedback
Engagement
-Project-based with flexible hours. A short trial assignment may be provided to assess long-term fit.
