Sr. Industrial Engineer wanted by Kenco Management Services, LLC in Chattanooga, TN to develop best practices and cost reduction activities. Conduct facility layout and MHE design as well as partner closely with Customers and Kenco Operations to achieve project results. Track value (Value Creation Index) created from all assigned projects as well as ensure Work Measurement systems are developed, implemented and effective. Ensure warehouse flow, conduct zoning and slotting assessments and profile analysis for continuous improvement of Kenco Operating System as well as process observations and time-motion studies. Assist sites analyze labor management data to drive operational decisions. Perform Line Balancing and one-piece flow simulation analysis. Conduct Takt time methods, process capability and performance as well as Control Charting and Control Planning. Implement exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing and analytical methods to develop process improvements. Obtain input from customers to define project priority, set goals and objectives and obtain feedback on performance. Align the organization around learned principles and drive establishment of lean systems in all areas using Hoshin planning activities. Ensure correct utilization of tools to solve the most important problems affecting our customer’s satisfaction, quality, cost, and delivery. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or related field and 18 months of experience in a related position in distribution setting (or 3PL). Experience must include: 1) Project management; 2) Customer facing role defining expectations and achieving results; 3) WMS and Automation solutions.
