Health and Welfare Analyst - Hybrid

Our client is looking to add a couple Health Analysts to their growing practice.
Duties: Partner with lead consultants to manage client relationships, prepare meeting materials, respond to client inquiries, and support delivery of high-quality consulting services. Support execution of client strategies by coordinating tasks, monitoring timelines, balancing workloads, ensuring quality control standards, and assisting with billing and fee processes. Collect, organize, validate, and document client data; manage data requests and timelines; and collaborate with vendors and plan professionals to resolve discrepancies and ensure data integrity. Prepare recurring actuarial and financial deliverables using established models and templates, including financial and utilization reports, projections, contribution rates, compliance filings, and plan communications. Support or lead non-routine analyses and initiatives such as vendor RFPs, plan design and contribution impact analyses, regulatory compliance support, and implementation of plan, vendor, or funding changes. Contribute to practice-wide initiatives, mentor junior staff, uphold firm standards and best practices, maintain required continuing education, and stay current on regulatory, market, and industry developments.
Ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Health Administration, Public Health, or a related quantitative or health-focused field. Strongly prefer advanced technical skills (underwriting experience, advanced skillset using Excel, etc.). Health and welfare consulting or health insurance experience is a plus, but not required. Internship experience will also be considered.
Actuarial experience is a plus, but not required. Experience with multiemployer health plans, negotiation support, and/or work with bargained health plans is a plus, but not required. 1+ years of experience working at an actuarial consulting firm is preferred, but willing to also consider new graduates with minimal experience.
