Deposition Hardware Course Developer 3

The group youll be a part of The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes. The impact youll make You will create and revise Deposition hardware maintenance training materials for global field service personnel and customers. What youll do • Design and develop comprehensive maintenance courses for field service personnel on semiconductor manufacturing equipment • Apply instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive training modules, including e-learning and instructor-led training • Revise and update instructor led training materials based on instructor feedback • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and verify course content • Verify lists of procedures for Performance Based Equipment Training (PBETs) for Virtual Reality (VR) training, confirming that the list is complete, matches the tool configuration, and includes procedures that need to be performed before, after, or during the listed procedures • Create tool certifications • Develop or revise assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and learner comprehension • Continuously update and improve course content to reflect the latest industry advancements and best practices • Stay current with trends and advancements in semiconductor technology and educational methodologies Who were looking for • Ability to understand complex technical content and communicate it to a broader audience • Bachelors degree preferred (ideally in STEM fields, Education, Technical Writing or Communications) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft PPT, Excel, Word, and Articulate suite including Storyline and RISE • Ability to write clear instructional copy that translates complex technical concepts into clear, accurate, and concise learning materials • Attention to detail • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously • Can build and maintain strong, positive relationships with subject matter experts including instructors and product group engineers • Commitment to producing high-quality, accurate, educational materials that follow a style guide for a consistent global experience for students and instructors Preferred qualifications • Photoshop • Vis Ren (ability to use software to take pictures of Lam products, not full VR design) • Cornerstone LMS administration • Ability to adapt AI and other tools to improve training workflows • Ability to use modeling to support instruction e.g. 3D printing, Captivate or other video software, etc. Our commitment We believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
