Contract Medical Biller – Women’s Health Clinic

Job Type: Temporary, 90-Day Contract (1099) Location: Remote About the Role We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to support a growing women’s health clinic during a 90-day temporary contract. This role will focus on building and optimizing revenue cycle operations, including ERA/EFT setup, payer enrollment coordination, and establishing clean claim workflows. This is a project-based engagement designed to strengthen billing infrastructure and improve reimbursement processes. Responsibilities • Lead setup and configuration of Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) and EFT enrollment • Coordinate payer enrollments and ensure proper ERA/EFT linkage with contracted insurers • Establish and document billing workflows and revenue cycle processes • Submit, track, and follow up on claims with commercial and government payers • Post payments and reconcile ERA files • Investigate and resolve claim denials; manage appeals as needed • Ensure documentation supports accurate coding and compliance standards • Identify opportunities to reduce denials and improve reimbursement rates • Maintain HIPAA compliance and payer regulatory standards • Provide documentation and transition guidance at the conclusion of the contract Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience • Experience in OB/GYN or women’s health billing strongly preferred • Hands-on experience setting up ERAs and EFTs with multiple payers • Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and payer billing regulations • Experience working with EMR and billing platforms • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently • Experience supporting startup or growing clinics preferred Pay: From $20.00 per hour Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
