BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Test Scorer for an opportunity in 100% Remote Job Title: Test Scorer – 100 % Remote Work Location: Remote Expected Duration: 8 weeks Contract. Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:00 pm with one 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute paid breaks Pay Rate: $18/hr on W2 Position Type: Remote Note: Must have bachelor’s degree from accredited university and must have own equipment (Computer/laptop) with Good Internet Connectivity to WFH. Job Description We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented candidates to join our team for an upcoming project. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. Qualifications & Requirements: • Must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. • Must provide a Diploma or Official Transcripts during orientation. • Must be available for the entire duration of the project. • Comfortable working in a desk-based, computer-intensive environment for the majority of the day. • Attendance is mandatory during the first week of training—no absences permitted for any reason. Join our team as a Test Scorer/Reader with our client and play a crucial role in evaluating student assessments for grades K-12. This position involves grading reading, writing, math, social studies, and science tests, focusing on essays and written math responses that require human evaluation. What You’ll Do: • Review and score student responses based on specific guidelines and scoring criteria. · Assess written essays and math problems that cannot be graded by automated systems. · Work in a structured, classroom-like environment under the guidance of a Scoring Director and Team Leader. · Maintain accuracy and consistency in scoring while adhering to training protocols. Hiring Process: Candidates must successfully pass an initial assessment, which includes: • Algebra (30 questions) – High school-level math · Geometry (20 questions) – High school-level math · English (30 questions) · Biology & Physical Science (20 questions) · Government & American History (15 questions) Upon passing the assessment, candidates will be scheduled for a virtual orientation, where they must complete the onboarding process.
