Part-Time Electrical Engineer for occasional support (Flexible, Remote Messaging Support)
We're looking for an experienced electrical engineer to provide occasional support on various shop projects. Communication will take place via messages (email or chat). Sometimes we may need to chat during normal business hours (8–5 CST), but this can be scheduled ahead of time—nothing last-minute.
What you’ll help with:
Developing wiring plans that a mechanical tech (with working electrical experience) can confidently follow
Troubleshooting electrical issues remotely
Projects examples include:
Converting a 3-phase compressor to single phase
Adding remote start capability to a VFD
Wiring push-button controls for a solenoid valve (blow-down device)
This is a flexible, as-needed role—ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and helping others execute clean, safe electrical solutions.
