Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative vision and the technical skills to bring that vision to life through engaging video content. You will be responsible for editing raw footage, creating compelling stories, and ensuring the final product meets the highest quality standards.
This role is fully remote and 10-12 hours a week. Work is not guaranteed and some weeks will not have any work assigned.
Key Responsibilities
• Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product
• Collaborate with the production team to understand project goals and requirements
• Implement color correction and audio editing to enhance video quality
• Create storyboards to plan video sequences effectively
• Manage video assets and ensure all files are organized and accessible
• Incorporate visual effects and graphics to enhance storytelling
• Meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends and techniques
Qualifications
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and other video editing software
• Strong understanding of color correction techniques
• Experience in storyboarding and video production processes
• Knowledge of visual effects and audio editing
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work
