Fractional CMO – E-Commerce Growth + Fulfillment Expansion
We are looking for a Fractional CMO to lead growth strategy for a premium fine art print lab serving artists, photographers, and creative professionals.
We are entering a new expansion phase and need someone to help us strategically launch and scale our artist fulfillment offering alongside our core custom print services.
This is a leadership role, not an execution role.
About Us:
We operate a high-end fine art print lab with a strong reputation for quality and service. Our core customers are artists and photographers who value museum-grade printing.
In addition to custom printing, we are expanding our fulfillment capabilities to support artists who want to sell their work without managing production themselves.
We need a marketing leader to help:
• Position this expansion correctly
• Build the go-to-market strategy
• Architect funnels and messaging
• Coordinate channel execution
• Tie everything back to revenue
What You’ll Own:
1.) Growth Strategy & Roadmapping
• Quarterly marketing roadmap
• Channel prioritization
• Budget allocation
• KPI framework
• Attribution structure
2.) Launch Strategy for Fulfillment Expansion
• Positioning and messaging
• ICP definition (artist segments, studios, online sellers, etc.)
• Offer structure
• Pricing and margin considerations
• Funnel architecture
• Partner/affiliate strategy
• Retention and expansion revenue strategy
We need someone who understands how to bring a new service offering to market within an existing brand.
3.) Email Marketing (Klaviyo)
• Lifecycle architecture
• B2C and B2B segmentation
• Lead nurturing flows
• Campaign calendar strategy
• Revenue attribution
4.) Paid Media
• Funnel-based acquisition strategy
• Creative testing systems
• Platform mix (Meta, Google, etc.)
• Scaling profitable campaigns
• AOV and LTV-informed acquisition
5.) SEO + Content Strategy
• Authority positioning within our niche
• Content supporting both custom print and fulfillment services
• Blog-to-offer conversion strategy
• Technical SEO oversight
6.) Website Strategy + CRO (Shopify)
• PDP optimization
• Service landing pages
• Funnel-specific landing pages
• AOV optimization systems
• Conversion testing roadmap
8.) Influencer + Affiliate Programs
• Creator partnership strategy
• Ambassador structure
• Commission tiers
• UGC pipeline
Ideal Background:
• Experience as a Fractional CMO or Head of Growth
• Experience launching a new service or product line
• Shopify ecosystem expertise
• Strong Klaviyo knowledge
• Paid media oversight experience
• Experience with hybrid DTC + B2B models
• Deep understanding of funnel architecture
• Strong attribution and analytics literacy
Bonus if you’ve worked with:
• Creative or artist-focused brands
• Premium DTC brands
• Fulfillment or operationally complex businesses
• Subscription or retention-driven businesses
We are building toward a $5M+ annual revenue company over the next several years.
We are not looking for incremental optimization.
We are looking for someone who understands how to build the systems required to scale to that level.
Engagement Structure:
• Fractional role (10–20 hrs/week initially)
• Long-term preferred
• Must provide a 90-day plan
• Must establish a KPI dashboard
• Must align strategy with margin targets
