JOB DESCRIPTION: Position Summary: The Inventory Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management across all locations and systems. This role involves analyzing inventory data, reconciling discrepancies, forecasting demand, and supporting process improvements that maintain accurate reporting and efficient inventory flow. The Inventory Analyst partners closely with Operations, Accounting, Procurement, and IT to ensure end-to-end visibility and control over inventory levels and cost. How you will Own It: • Monitor, analyze, and reconcile inventory between point-of-sale, warehouse, and accounting systems. • Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and variances. • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on inventory accuracy, aging, usage trends, and valuation. • Support period-end closing activities, including reconciliations between subledger and general ledger. • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve inventory control procedures and data integrity. • Maintain item master data accuracy and ensure consistent SKU-level tracking. • Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and make recommendations for resolution. • Assist in cycle counts, audits, and physical inventory processes. • Provide data-driven insights to support cost optimization and forecasting. • Collaborate with IT or system support teams to troubleshoot and enhance system performance related to inventory management. What you’ll Bring: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field. • 2–5 years of experience in inventory analysis, accounting, or operations. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite. • Familiarity with POS systems and inventory reporting tools is preferred. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Position Location: North Carolina Compensation Range: $70,200.00 - $125,400.00 Compensation Frequency: Annual Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
