Temp PT Business Immigration (3+ yrs) REMOTE Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for a skilled (3+ yrs) Business Immigration Attorney/Lawyer to REMOTELY join our team on a PART-TIME (10-15 hrs per week) contract basis in New York, New York. This role involves handling diverse legal matters, including business immigration, drafting legal documents, and managing discovery processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise and professionalism to support our legal operations effectively. Responsibilities: • Draft clear, precise legal motions and briefs tailored to case requirements. • Conduct thorough research and prepare detailed legal documentation to support litigation efforts. • Manage discovery processes, including gathering and reviewing evidence and preparing interrogatories. • Collaborate with colleagues to develop legal strategies and case approaches. • Provide expert legal advice to clients, addressing their concerns and guiding them through complex legal issues. • Maintain compliance with all legal regulations and deadlines. • Review and analyze case law to support legal arguments and decision-making. • Communicate effectively with clients, court officials, and other attorneys. • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and changes in the field. • Must be a US licensed attorney with active credentials. • Demonstrated expertise (3+ yrs) in business immigration processes and protocols. • Strong ability to draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents. • Experience managing discovery, including evidence collection and analysis. • Excellent research skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Familiarity with applicable laws and regulations specific to the jurisdiction.
