[Remote] Senior Governance and Policy Analyst (Network Security)

Optomi, in partnership with a leading provider in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Senior Governance and Policy Analyst (Network Security) to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, standardizing, and operationalizing network security policies and processes across the enterprise, working closely with leadership, technical teams, legal, and compliance to establish governance frameworks. Responsibilities • Develop and revise enterprise network security policies and governance standards • Partner with leadership, security engineering, legal, and compliance teams to implement policies • Work with technical writers to document policies and procedures • Build governance processes and workflows from the ground up • Operate within ServiceNow to manage governance workflows and policy lifecycle • Provide senior-level guidance and direction for policy and governance strategy • Conduct discovery sessions with security, infrastructure, and leadership teams to understand current policies and gaps • Draft and revise network security policies, standards, and governance documentation • Coordinate policy approval workflows with legal and compliance stakeholders • Manage policy lifecycle workflows in ServiceNow • Provide guidance and direction on governance best practices across the enterprise • Participate in governance steering committees and security leadership meetings Skills • Senior-level experience in security governance, policy development, or security program management • Strong understanding of enterprise network security concepts and organizational structures • Hands-on experience working within ServiceNow governance and workflow modules • Experience collaborating with legal, compliance, and risk teams on security policy implementation • Strong documentation and communication skills; experience working with technical writers • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word) • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, early-stage program environments • Experience in large enterprise environments (not limited to small-company IT setups) • Experience with policy management tools such as FRS or similar platforms • Prior experience building security governance programs from the ground up • Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, Zero Trust governance models) • Background in enterprise risk management or GRC functions Company Overview • OPTOMI is an IT staffing firm that serves its consultants, clients, and employees through its consultant-focused approach.
