Senior Strategic Costing Analyst

U.S. Bank Corp is seeking an experienced and agile Senior Strategic Costing Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate, timely and insightful financial analysis and cost management support. This includes developing, managing and monitoring the cost structure of the company’s operations, as well as providing strategic guidance to senior leadership. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics, and have at least 5 years of experience in financial analysis. An advanced degree is preferred. The successful candidate must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: Analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations to senior leadership. Develop, manage and monitor the cost structure of the company’s operations. Identify areas for cost savings and improvement. Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and other internal and external stakeholders. Prepare reports, presentations and other materials to support strategic decisions. Monitor and evaluate financial performance of the company. Participate in various meetings and projects to ensure strategic cost objectives are achieved. Provide financial guidance and advice to senior leadership.
