Authorization Specialist (Remote) Supporting Skilled Nursing Communities Throughout Minnesota Position Overview Continuum Therapy Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Authorization Specialist to manage insurance verifications and prior authorizations for therapy services in skilled nursing communities across Minnesota. This remote role is paid hourly and ensures timely approvals, accurate documentation, and uninterrupted care. Must reside in Minnesota. Key Responsibilities • Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage for therapy services • Obtain and track prior authorizations (PT, OT, ST) • Communicate with payors and facility teams regarding approvals and denials • Monitor authorization expirations and request extensions • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance • Additional duties as assigned Qualifications • 2+ years of insurance verification or prior authorization experience (SNF preferred) • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care plans • Strong organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple facilities and deadlines in a remote environment • Must reside in Minnesota What We Offer (30+ hrs/week): • Full Benefits Package • Medical, Dental, Vision • 401k + Company Match • Life Insurance, STD/LTD • Generous PTO Our Commitment: At Continuum Therapy Partners, we"re driven by clinical integrity, ethical care, and compassion.
