[Remote] Financial Modeling & Valuation Consultant | Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Valuation & Modeling Expert to build and enhance advanced valuation models and perform detailed due diligence. This role involves creating complex financial models and presenting findings to stakeholders in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities
• Build and enhance advanced valuation models including DCF (WACC-based), trading comps, and precedent transaction analysis
• Develop integrated 3-statement financial models, operating models, and 13-week cash flow forecasts
• Create deal models such as LBO, merger models (base version), and accretion/dilution analyses
• Design specialized models including sale-leaseback, REIT conversion, NAV, and other industry-specific frameworks
• Lead complex transaction modeling for scenarios such as spin-offs, carve-outs, RMT structures, and IP licensing deals
• Perform detailed due diligence, including unit economics analysis and cohort trend evaluations across niche verticals
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders through strong written and verbal communication
Skills
• Strong years of progressive experience in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, growth equity, corporate development, or strategic finance (Tier-1 / Fortune 500 preferred)
• Strong expertise in valuation methodologies and financial modeling fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with deal modeling (LBO, M&A, accretion/dilution) and advanced transaction analysis
• Ability to manage bespoke, high-complexity modeling and due diligence projects independently
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analysis toolkit
• Exceptional attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with global stakeholders
