RateHawk Hotel API Integration – Backend Developer Needed (Hours Estimate Required)
We are hiring a backend developer to integrate the RateHawk hotel inventory API into our website.
Important: We previously posted a similar project using a different hotel API provider and interviewed 21 freelancers. From those interviews, we already know the realistic hour range for a standard hotel API integration. Because of this, proposals with inflated hour estimates will be rejected without response. Please review the documentation before estimating.

This project is for CORE API integration only. Rewards programs, loyalty logic, FAM rewards, or advanced admin features are NOT included in this phase. If you believe anything outside the core scope is needed, list it separately with separate hours.

Core Scope of Work:
API authentication setup
Connect to sandbox and production environments
Hotel search endpoint integration
Availability and rates retrieval
Hotel details endpoint
Booking creation flow
Booking confirmation handling
Cancellation endpoint handling
Data mapping to our site backend
Basic error handling
Basic end-to-end booking test
Required in Your Proposal:
Total hours for CORE integration only
Separate hours for any optional or extra improvements
Short hour breakdown by task
Do NOT include hourly rate, fixed price, or delivery timeline. We are only evaluating hour estimates at this stage.
Selection Process:We will shortlist the top three candidates based on realistic hours and technical clarity. Those candidates will be asked to reconfirm scope after reviewing the documentation in detail. Final selection will be made from that group.
Payment Terms:No upfront deposit. Work is completed first. A senior developer will review and test the integration. Payment will be released after technical review and successful functional testing.
