Medical Information Specialist; Remote - EST

Position: Medical Information Specialist (Remote - EST) Overview Employer Industry: Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Why consider this job opportunity: • Salary up to $134,000 • Eligible for short-term and long-term incentive programs • Comprehensive benefits suite including medical, dental, and vision healthcare • Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization • Supportive and innovative work environment focused on patient needs • Chance to contribute to groundbreaking therapies and technologies in organ transplantation What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) • Serve as the first point of contact for healthcare providers and patients, addressing medical inquiries through Global Medical Information • Manage inbound and outbound communications via phone and email, using approved scripts and clinical resources • Document all contacts and inquiries in Veeva Med Inquiry in accordance with established procedures • Collaborate with Medical Information Managers and other colleagues on projects and resource development • Identify training needs and contribute to the design and execution of training programs What is Required (Qualifications) • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure • 5+ years of customer-facing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including medical information or clinical experience • Working knowledge of medical terminology and awareness of regulations related to Medical Information • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written • Ability to travel up to 10% and work weekends/holidays on call as needed How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) • 3+ years of clinical nursing experience in pulmonary hypertension and/or interstitial lung disease • 1+ years of medical writing experience • Understanding of metrics related to customer service efficiency and satisfaction • Clinical experience in critical care, pulmonology, or cardiology #Biotechnology #Pharmaceuticals #Medical Information #Career Opportunity #Patient Care We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
