Crypto Quant Trader / Portfolio Manager

A multi-strategy proprietary trading firm is seeking experienced Crypto Quantitative Traders / Portfolio Managers with proven, self-directed strategies. Traders will be allocated significant internal capital and operate with full autonomy over their strategy, risk, and execution. This opportunity is designed for traders who already have an edge and are looking to scale their returns with institutional-grade capital, infrastructure, and risk support. The firm is headquartered in Chicago, with additional offices across major US and international trading hubs, and the ability to support remote traders depending on profile. Role Responsibilities • Run an independent crypto quantitative trading strategy (systematic or semi-systematic) • Generate consistent risk-adjusted returns on allocated firm capital • Own the full lifecycle of the strategy: research, execution, risk management, and performance • Collaborate with internal risk, technology, and trading infrastructure teams as needed • Scale capital responsibly while maintaining disciplined drawdown control Capital & Economics • Initial margin allocation: ~$20–40m (scalable further with performance) • Target annualised returns: 45%+ • P&L split: 25–30% paid to the trader • Upside: One of the most competitive payout structures in the market, with higher splits available for lower-risk or high-consistency strategies Requirements • Proven track record running a crypto-focused quantitative trading strategy • Experience as a Quant Trader or Portfolio Manager in a prop trading firm. • Demonstrated ability to manage risk and produce consistent returns • Strategy must be deployable on firm capital (no purely theoretical research roles) Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
