Senior Motion Graphics Artist

Role Description We are seeking a Senior level Motion Graphics artist with a focus on graphic design to help us create story-driven content on an ad hoc basis. A good candidate will have experience in leadership managing a vision and taking initiative in a range of both graphic design focused and illustrative styles. The role will have ownership on the polish and assembly of final deliverables for a set of influencer-style legal explainer videos, featuring legal experts in a variety of practice areas. This artist will work confidently with Adobe programs and support work within a pre-defined style. This person will work in a creative team space and is expected to problem solve and innovate within their assigned work. The role could develop into directing, guiding, and communicating with mid-level artists when needed. Ideal candidates are comfortable working in a fast paced “stop and go” production setting. Minimum Requirements Ability to communicate, direct and problem solve with a team of artists Managing a style / vision through clear direction and collaboration Create production conscious resources and after effects pipelines that follow existing style and direction Organization and cleanliness in file creation a must (following naming conventions and existing depot rules…) Expert in graphic design practices and execution (Iconography, layout composition, typography and motion design/animation) Ability to pull existing resources to assemble final deliverables and apply polish for client High level proficiency with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop Knowledge on SFX and Music integration for final assembly of work Quality assurance and polish Experience 8+ Years in a motion graphics and/or creative leadership position Experience reviewing storyboards, assets, graphic design and animation Experience in creating graphic assets / iconographic / design layouts / motion graphics Company Description Briefly specializes in making legal information more accessible.
