Your primary responsibility will be to process and manage various financial transactions, including check processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers. You'll work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and regulatory institutions to ensure seamless operations and compliance with industry regulations. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Completing daily tasks related to account processing, including check processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers * Coordinating with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve issues and ensure timely processing * Assisting various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing * Working member cases/assignments and following established guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and Federal Banking laws * Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams * Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products * Logging, reviewing, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns * Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching * Completing daily balancing and department closing * Obtaining information from contributors for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests * Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing budget transfer information * Communicating with vendors to facilitate budget transfers * Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws * Depositing check returns, reviewing member re-exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers * Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees **What You'll Need for Success** To excel in this role, you'll need: * A high school degree or GED * Intermediate Excel and Word experience * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision * Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure situations * Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance * Must pass relevant arenaflex and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, previous experience in customer service, banking, or credit union roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with Episys/Symitar and processing wires is also a plus. **Essential Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) * Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team * Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure situations * Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department * Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors * Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision * Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for attention to detail * Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
