Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with excellent customer service skills to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician-Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties, including data entry, customer service, and order processing. You will work closely with our Data Entry Manager and other team members to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including data entry, customer service, and order processing
- Answer phones and respond to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Handle and resolve client complaints and inquiries in a timely and effective manner, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction
- Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times, ensuring efficient and accurate processing
- Clarify orders as needed, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License
- Previous experience in pharmacy, with long-term care (LTC) pharmacy experience preferred
- Knowledge of brand name and generic medications, including their uses, side effects, and interactions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
- Great telephone etiquette, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Frameworks / ECM knowledge is a plus, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in pharmacy or a related field preferred
