Fractional Resources Manager
We need an Fractional Resources Manager who can build and own the HR function from the ground up: recruiting, onboarding, contractor compliance, payroll administration, performance management, and culture. You’ll be the go-to person for everything people-related across a distributed team spanning four countries and multiple time zones.
This isn’t just an execution role. You’ll have full ownership, direct access to the founders, and the ability to shape how we attract, develop, and retain world-class talent as we scale.
Key Responsibilities (Part Time):
Recruiting & Onboarding
• Support light-volume, full-cycle recruitment: job postings, applicant screening, and interview coordination.
• Conduct streamlined onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and contractors.
Contractor Administration & Compliance
• Maintain and update personnel records across HR tools.
• Assist with global contractor administration, including gathering contractor feedback and flagging areas for improvement.
• Prepare HR documentation, including contracts, notices, and internal communications.
Performance Management
• Provide operational support for performance management cycles, such as collecting feedback, preparing templates, and tracking deadlines.
Culture & Engagement
• Contribute to culture-building and engagement touchpoints, scaled appropriately for part-time involvement.
• Assist with employee inquiries and basic benefits questions (where applicable).
HR Operations & Process Building
• Help build and refine lean HR processes and SOPs that scale as the company grows.
• Handle day-to-day HR operations with professionalism and confidentiality.
Who You Are:
You align naturally with our core values and are energized by the opportunity to apply them:
• Customer Centric & Service-Oriented – You provide reliable, high-quality support and build trust across the team.
• Efficient & Process-Driven – You thrive in structure, love optimizing workflows, and make processes scalable.
• Solution-Oriented – You approach challenges with practicality and proactivity.
• Collaborative & Respectful – You communicate clearly and work well with diverse personalities and cultures.
• A Continuous Improvement Expert – You enjoy refining systems and elevating the employee experience.
Tools You’ll Use:
You’ll be working with (or helping manage) the following tools:
• Deel – Payroll & contractor management (India/Pakistan)

• Hands-on experience managing international contractors and navigating multi-country compliance.
• Familiarity with payroll platforms such as Deel and Wise (or similar).
• Experience with Slack, Google Workspace (G Suite), and time-tracking tools like Hubstaff.
• Experience supporting international teams or distributed workforces.
• Familiarity with performance-management or feedback-based systems.
• Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Comfort operating in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with maturity and discretion.
• Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience scaling HR from 30–100+ team members.
You’re a Great Fit If You…
• Enjoy creating structure and bringing order to chaos — and can build or improve HR systems, templates, and frameworks with minimal guidance.
• Love the idea of shaping an entire HR infrastructure from the ground up, without inheriting broken systems or bureaucracy.
• Are curious and proactive about understanding what contractors and team members need to do their best work.
• Feel energized by supporting performance management cycles, driving accountability, and building a culture of high trust in a fully remote environment.
• Want a role where your contributions genuinely shape culture, processes, and day-to-day operations — not just execute someone else’s playbook.
Why This Role Is Unique:
