Please find the below requirement with our direct client Job Title: Ab Initio ETL Developer Remote Role Rate: Open · Looking for an experienced Ab Initio ETL Developer to build and optimize scalable, high-performance data integration solutions in an enterprise data environment. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio ETL Developer to design, develop, optimize, and support high-performance data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio GDE/Co>Operating System, data warehousing concepts, and large-scale data processing in enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL pipelines using Ab Initio (GDE, EME, Co>Op). • Build and optimize high-volume batch and real-time data integration workflows. • Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data quality. • Develop and optimize parameterized graphs, reusable components, and metadata-driven ETL processes. • Work with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2, etc.) to extract and load data. • Optimize performance using parallelism, partitioning, and performance tuning techniques. • Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and downstream consumers to understand data requirements. • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support ETL batch operations. • Follow SDLC and Agile methodologies, ensuring proper documentation and version control. • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and audit standards. Required Skills & Qualifications • Good years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio ETL development. • Strong experience with: • Ab Initio GDE, EME, Co>Operating System • Unix/Linux shell scripting • SQL and relational databases • Solid understanding of: • Data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension modeling, SCDs) • ETL best practices and performance tuning • Experience handling large datasets and complex transformations. • Knowledge of file formats (CSV, fixed-width, XML, JSON, Parquet). • Experience with job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, etc.). Preferred / Nice-to-Have • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Exposure to big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark). • Experience in Healthcare, Banking, or Insurance domains. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git). • Ab Initio certification is a plus.
