Remote Clinical Research Statistician

Accountabilities • Lead applied clinical research and outcomes strategy in-house clinical data and collaborate with third-party actuary for claims data • Design and conduct statistically sound analyses that highlight impact on cost, utilization, and outcomes • Oversee publication-ready research including study design, documentation, compliance, and submission • Collaborate with payer- and client-facing teams to support ongoing clinical research conversations • Translate complex methodologies and results into clear, executive-ready narratives • Work with operations and finance to align outcomes with ROI and cost narratives • Establish repeatable processes, standards, and reporting mechanisms for outcomes research across the organization • Act as the internal authority on research methodology, assumptions, and integrity Requirements • PhD strongly preferred or MBA with a robust foundation in statistics or data science • 8+ years of experience in applied clinical research, outcomes research, or real-world evidence • Hands-on experience with claims data and/or outcome analyses in a commercial environment • Advanced proficiency in statistical programming (Python/R/SQL) for data extraction, validation, and analysis • Experience in payer, insurance, health services research, or similar settings • Demonstrated ability to lead or support publication-quality research initiatives • Capability to clearly explain and defend methods and results in commercial and executive contexts • Ability to make informed decisions quickly and adapt as data and products evolve Benefits • Autonomy to tackle significant, complex problems that matter • Opportunity to improve lives every day • Chance to shape a category-defining company at scale • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Competitive total compensation and meaningful equity • TelaDoc (virtual primary care) • National and local discounts powered by TriNet • Unlimited PTO and paid holidays • Remote equipment setup and home office stipend • Paid Parental Leave • 401K and 401K match • Charitable Donation Match program • Location: Remote Why Apply Through Jobgether?
