Job Summary

The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for alternate investments. This includes processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles, identifying and addressing breaks recognized between arenaflex and fund companies or transfer agents, and processing corporate activity activities. The specialist will also be responsible for settling and reconciling transactions, processing and reconciling returns activity, and performing analysis of complex and escalated issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify and address breaks recognized between arenaflex and fund companies or transfer agents
  • Process corporate activity activities, settle and reconcile transactions, and process and reconcile returns activity
  • Perform analysis of complex and escalated issues, including testing and validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes
  • Review and analyze client/advisor amount exceptions, regulatory commitments, and reconciliation of business, dividend, and transactions breaks
  • Provide exceptional client and business partner service, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including retail and institutional service teams, to ensure seamless and efficient processing of client transactions
  • Embodies arenaflex's values and principles in daily interactions with fund companies, transfer agents, counterparties, and other external business partners

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process and reconcile large volumes of data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional client and business partner service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory commitments, including 2340 and 15C3-3
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience in a data entry or operations role, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of trading, dividends, transfers, reconciliation, and corporate actions
  • Experience with Salesforce and other CRM systems
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java
  • Certifications or designations, such as a Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) or a Certified Operations Professional (COP)

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
