**The Role**
As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and ensuring that our customers receive the highest levels of service and satisfaction. You'll play a key role in maintaining our customer expectations, ensuring that orders are delivered on time and to the right location. Your expertise will be crucial in developing plans to meet business objectives, collaborating with support teams, and driving safety, quality, and productivity.
**Key Responsibilities and Job Elements**
* Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results
* Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure seamless operations
* Collaborate with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans to meet business objectives
* Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach to perform tasks
* Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts, working in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
* Work in an environment that's subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
* Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)

**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
* 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role or operations management
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
* Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
* Ability to work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
* Ability to work in an environment that's subject to variable temperatures and weather
