Job Title Transportation Systems Planner – Mobility & Long-Range Planning Job Description: The Transportation Systems Planner will design, simulate, and optimize multimodal transportation networks across New York's evolving transit infrastructure. You’ll support long-range planning, policy modeling, and investment optimization. Key Responsibilities: • Develop integrated transportation models and simulations. • Analyze and recommend policy changes for mobility improvements. • Prepare scenario-based funding and investment models. • Conduct demand forecasting and ridership analytics. • Engage with agencies on strategic transportation planning initiatives. Qualifications: • Master’s in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, or equivalent. Experience: • 5+ years in transportation or transit planning. Skills: • VISSIM, Synchro, Visum, TransCAD • Policy analysis and long-range plan development • GIS-based transit planning • Strong stakeholder communication Certifications (Preferred): • AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) • PTP ( Professional Transportation Planner) If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the environment and have the skills to drive sustainable solutions, we invite you to apply to at AZH Consulting!
