RN or LPN OB GYN Phone Triage

About the position Since 1989, Rockhill Women's Care has been dedicated to providing quality care and customer service to our patients. We are a full-service OB/GYN practice in Kansas City with offices in Overland Park / Leawood, on the campus of Menorah Medical Center, and in Lee's Summit on the campus of Saint Luke's East Hospital. We are an all-female physician-owned OB/GYN practice with 11 providers on staff. Being privately-owned, allows us to prioritize the needs of our team and our patients. We are looking for a full-time LPN or RN to join our team! Our Phone Triage works with our providers and staff to support excellent communication and high-quality, patient centered care. As an OB/GYN Phone Triage Nurse, you will work a set schedule (M-F) that allows for work/life balance ( no nights or weekends! ) The OB/GYN Phone Triage position is a HYBRID schedule in which the employee works a total of 5 days per week, with the option of working from home 2-3 days per week. The rest of the days must be on location at our office. Responsibilities • Performing clinical assessment and documenting patient details during telephone interaction process • Ensuring all care provided is in compliance with patient's plan of care as directed by the patient's provider • Providing guidance, support and education to patients • Documenting patient telephone interactions including services and education provided into the electronic medical record (EMR) • Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment • Maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting operations by keeping patient care information confidential Requirements • Graduate of an accredited RN/LPN program • Nursing License Required • Effective Verbal Communication Skills both In Person and Over the Phone • Excellent Written Communication Skills • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Experience Preferred Nice-to-haves • OB/Gyn Experience STRONGLY Preferred Benefits • Paid Time Off • Health, Dental and Vision Insurance • Life Insurance & LTD Insurance • 401K Retirement Benefit • Paid Holidays • Uniform cost assistance program Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
