Mobile App Developer (iOS/Android) – Camera + Facial‑Feature Detection, NDA Required

I’m looking for an experienced mobile app developer to build the first version of a beauty‑focused mobile application that uses the device camera and facial‑feature detection/alignment as a core part of the experience. Because this work is tied to an active IP and patent strategy, an NDA will be required before I share full product details, flows, and assets. At a high level, the app will involve: A live camera view of the user’s face One or more visual elements positioned and aligned to facial features in real time A guided flow where the user completes an on‑screen process and can save or reuse the outcome Detailed behavior, logic, and UX flows will be provided after the NDA is in place. Required Experience Strong experience building and shipping mobile apps (please share App Store / Google Play or portfolio links) Proficiency in at least one of: Native iOS (Swift / SwiftUI), or Native Android (Kotlin), or A robust cross‑platform framework (React Native, Flutter) Hands‑on experience with: Camera access and real‑time image handling, and Face or facial‑feature detection / alignment using platform frameworks or suitable libraries (e.g., Vision/ML Kit/ARKit/ARCore or similar) Comfortable working under an NDA on an IP‑sensitive project Nice to Have Prior work on AR‑style overlays, filters, or visual “try‑on” / guidance experiences Experience in beauty, wellness, or consumer personalization apps Ability to set up or integrate with a simple backend (e.g., Firebase, Supabase) for user accounts and saved sessions How to Apply Please include in your proposal: 2–3 examples of mobile apps you’ve built that involve camera usage and/or face or facial‑feature detection/alignment A brief note on which tech stack you recommend for this kind of camera + facial‑feature experience and why Your preferred engagement model (hourly vs fixed) and a rough estimate for an MVP once detailed specs are shared Confirmation that you’re willing to sign an NDA before receiving full product documentation Once the NDA is signed, I’ll share detailed requirements, user flows, and wireframes so we can refine scope, timeline, and budget.
