Curriculum Writing Grades K-5

Hello Educational Leaders! We are looking for dynamic Content Team Leads to help manage our content/curriculum writing teams, design educational materials when needed, and work closely with teams to ensure the successful execution of projects. Candidates must have a Master's Degree, Leadership Experience, and at least 5 years of Teaching Experience. This role will involve content development, feedback, and revision of materials to enhance teachers’ use of core learning programs. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop educational resources, including auditing current materials and providing suggestions for improvement. • Engages in and facilitates routine trainings and weekly check-ins virtually and asynchronously to monitor the progress of work. • Review curriculum writers’ work to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with standards, providing actionable and constructive feedback for improvement. • Writers must be experts at writing to and navigating educational state standards; familiarity with TEKS is a huge plus! Qualifications: • Master’s Degree in Education or a related field • Teaching experience with at least 5 years of teaching in elementary literacy/language development • Science of Teaching Reading Certification • Experience in content creation and curriculum development with emphasis on SEL and Science of Reading • Experience leading Professional Development • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines • Creativity and passion for delivering high-quality educational materials If you’re an experienced educator with a passion for curriculum development, we’d love to hear from you! Job Details: Pay is $30/hr. Work is on a freelance basis. We’re looking for someone who can dedicate 20-40 hours a week. We offer a ton of flexibility, and ALL the work is from home!
