As a Senior Engineer, you will: Design and develop highly scalable solutions to enhance existing applications or support new applications. Optimize existing code for maintainability, performance, and testability. Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, driving root cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes. Document technical designs, workflows, and deployment processes. Improve application quality through the development of unit and automated UI tests. Lead vision, strategy, and patterns/practices discussions within the team. Advise on and help shape technical requirements for various initiatives. Thrive in ambiguity, balancing multiple priorities and evolving requirements to achieve shared goals for the team, organization, and business. Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. Exhibit curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Actively contribute to ongoing improvements in architecture and code reviews. Requirements • Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns. • 5+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in React (TypeScript), Terraform, C# (.Net)/Java/Golang/Node. • 3+ years of experience developing cloud-based solutions using Azure (preferred) or AWS. • 3+ years of experience with large-scale distributed systems and client-server architectures. • Hands-on experience implementing microservice patterns and designing RESTful APIs. • Experience in leveraging CI/CD pipelines • Experience working in lean engineering teams and following best practices around architecture, testing methodologies, and quality. • Proven ability to design and implement scalable, distributed, performant, and secure systems. • Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, Cosmos DB). • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar) for building, testing, and deploying applications. Nice-to-haves • Familiarity with GraphQL (preferred). • Familiarity with any Display technologies is preferred (Signage OS, LG/Samsung display integration) - preferred not required.
