We are seeking an experienced Digital Collections Live Chat Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals who share our passion for sustainability and exceptional customer experience. As a Live Chat Specialist, you will play a critical role in responding to borrowers via different digital communication channels, collecting past due payments, and providing appropriate payment solutions to cure borrower delinquency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with delinquent borrowers via different digital communication channels, including live chat, email, and phone
  • Find solutions to help bring borrower's loans to a current status, providing exceptional customer experience and support
  • Process payments for borrowers with past due payments, ensuring timely and efficient resolution
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly collection and metric goals, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers, as well as records of any payments collected from the customer

Essential Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of direct experience in credit and collections, with knowledge of sales, negotiation, and persuasion tools
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and concise messages
  • Prior experience with financial products preferred, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and terminology
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Self-motivated and extremely goal-oriented, with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a professional demeanor, able to work collaboratively with colleagues and customers
  • Bilingual Spanish/English required, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer base

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with live chat software and technology, with the ability to navigate multiple systems and tools
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
