[Remote] Web Designer (E-Commerce + AI)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bamboo Works is seeking a Web-Focused E-Commerce Designer who excels in creating high-converting digital experiences. The role involves designing Shopify stores, landing pages, and using AI tools to enhance workflow and UX/UI decisions for e-commerce partners. Responsibilities • Design high-performing Shopify layouts, focusing on product detail pages (PDPs), homepages, and collections • Create wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma with a deep focus on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) • Ensure every web asset is perfectly optimized for the mobile shopping experience • Build and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries to ensure visual consistency across web flows • Translate brand guidelines into digital-first visual languages (typography, color systems, and UI patterns) • Create variations of web elements (buttons, banners, navigation) for A/B testing and performance analysis • Use AI tools (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, etc.) to rapidly generate high-quality lifestyle imagery and web backgrounds • Integrate AI into your design process to speed up retouching, layout exploration, and content variation Skills • 4+ years of professional design experience, with a heavy emphasis on E-commerce Web Design • Mastery of Figma (Auto-layout, components, prototyping) and Adobe Creative Suite • Strong understanding of user psychology, heatmaps, and e-commerce conversion funnels • Hands-on experience using AI (Midjourney, etc.) to enhance or generate design assets • Deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem and its technical design constraints • Experience working with Shopify or Shopify Plus • Basic motion design skills (After Effects or similar) Company Overview • At Bamboo Works, we make hiring overseas easy, accessible, and affordable.
