We are expanding our practice and seeking a motivated Estate Planning Attorney to join our team.
This is an incredible opportunity for a former solo practitioner or small firm owner who wants to focus on practicing law, not managing a business. We take care of the marketing, billing, and admin, so you can focus on what matters most: your clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle limited conservatorship matters, including preparation, filing, and representation at court hearings.
• Manage probate cases from start to finish, including petitions, administration, and court appearances.
• Conduct client consultations to assess needs and recommend appropriate estate planning strategies.
• Draft estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related instruments.
• Represent clients in court for conservatorship and probate matters.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth case progression and excellent client service.
• Train and develop knowledge in special needs planning, including special needs trusts and related strategies, with mentorship and support from senior attorneys.

Qualifications
• Active member in good standing with the California Bar.
• Experience in probate and/or limited conservatorships is required.
• Comfortable and confident appearing in court.
• Strong legal drafting, research, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters independently while collaborating with a team.
• A genuine interest in learning special needs planning and expanding practice expertise.
• Compassionate, client-focused approach with a high standard of professionalism.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Starting salary: $150,000/yr, commensurate with experience
• This is for a 40 hrs/week position, but required 1300 billable hours/year
