**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced full stack data engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a data engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, efficient, and secure data pipelines that meet the needs of our business stakeholders. You will work closely with our data science team to integrate data from various sources, build and deploy machine learning models, and provide data insights to inform business decisions.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure data pipelines that meet the needs of our business stakeholders
* Work closely with our data science team to integrate data from various sources, build and deploy machine learning models, and provide data insights to inform business decisions
* Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch processing
* Collaborate with our information science team to change data and integrate calculations and models into automated processes
* Involve data in Cloud, Hadoop, and experience planning and streamlining queries to build data pipelines
* Develop strong programming skills in Python, or any of the major languages, to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems
* Assemble data stores and data models to support Information Science and other internal clients
* Incorporate data from various sources, ensuring that they adhere to data quality and accessibility standards
* Investigate current data technology conditions to identify and evaluate key functions and suggest solutions
* Explore available tools and counsel on new tools to determine the ideal solution given the requirements directed by the model/use case
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* 5+ years of relevant work experience in data engineering
* 5+ years of experience with SQL
* 5+ years of experience with Python
* Experience with Cloud-based platforms (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure)
* Strong Communication, Decision-Making, and Critical Thinking skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark
* Experience with Visualization (Tableau)
* Healthcare industry data experience is a plus
